Who Is m.e.?

I was seven when I fell in love with language.

It was summer in my small, one-traffic-light town and I was singing the color-learning jingle during my first Spanish class. The words were beautiful, and all I wanted was to use them properly — all I still want to do is use words properly.

So, years later, I went to school for Linguistics, studied theoretical poetics, applicable creative writing, and a slew of (mostly dead) languages. After graduation, I wrote and edited for marketing agencies, curriculum publishers, nonprofits, and medical trainers where I learned how to craft content that doesn't just sound good — it performs well, too.

Somewhere along the way, I fell in love, traveled (some of) the world, adopted two dogs, started gaming, cultivated my poetry, and, hopefully, made a positive change for a friend, patient, or student.
